Sivarasan, a close aide of LTTE chief Prabhakaran, narrowly escapes the coast guard, confirming he is still in India. As the Special Investigation Team scrambles to find him, they face a flood of misleading tips. Surveillance intensifies, and Ravi Shankar is finally caught and interrogated, revealing key links to the assassination plot. Meanwhile, Sivarasan plots a daring second attack. With his team spreading out in disguise and scouting the location, the threat escalates.

As the investigation intensifies, interrogations reveal how Nalini and Murugan became central to the conspiracy, and the SIT orchestrates a nationwide manhunt for them. Meanwhile, Sivarasan, defying LTTE orders, attempts a failed bomb attack on the SIT headquarters. The SIT gains vital intel from Murugan, including safe house locations and operational details. As the net tightens, the investigators move closer to dismantling the LTTE network on Indian soil.

The SIT learns how Dhanu, Shubha, and Haribabu conducted dry runs to prove they could breach high-level security-setting the stage for Rajiv Gandhi's murder. Meanwhile, the SIT arrests key LTTE sympathizers who expose the elaborate smuggling and safehouse networks along the Tamil Nadu coast. However, when one of them, who is the key to finding the mastermind, escapes custody, it reignites a desperate chase.

The SIT intensifies its hunt for Sivarasan, believing he may have fled Tamil Nadu. However, a lucky arrest in Coimbatore reveals that Sivarasan was smuggled into Bangalore in an oil tanker. As surveillance sweeps the city, a near-raid on one safe house in Indiranagar misses Sivarasan by mere metres, and a tragic misstep by local police in Biroota and Muthati results in the deaths of 17 LTTE operatives, prompting political backlash and urgent pressure on the SIT to capture Sivarasan alive.

The net tightens around Sivarasan as a local tip leads the police and SIT to his last known hideout in Konanakunte, Bangalore. Despite internal conflicts, media frenzy, and repeated delays, the NSG prepares for a final assault. Tension mounts as Sivarasan, hiding with Shubha, Nero, and others, grows paranoid and desperate. The SIT finally receives clearance to act, but will it be too late?
