A young and frustrated Börje Salming feels left behind. His older brother is a hockey-star in Gävle, and Börje is desperate to prove himself.
Episode 2
Börje achieves significant success with Brynäs, and his life changes drastically. Suddenly, a Canadian hockey scout turns everything upside down, and Börje is forced to make a life-altering decision.
Episode 3
New home, new country, new team, and it soon becomes apparent that Börje has a massive language barrier to overcome. The owner of the Maple Leafs questions if Börje was a bad investment.
Episode 4
Börje is juggling family life and career. Stig visits and questions Börje and the team's efforts on the ice. Margitta begins to question whether life in Toronto will be limited to being a hockey wife.
Episode 5
Börje is severely hurt during a game and Margitta fears for his life. Ballard's new coach pushes the team past their breaking point. Margitta's hard work culminates but her husband isn't there.
Episode 6
Börje celebrates his 35th birthday and is still at the top of his game. Being 35 brings back painful memories of his father from the past that he can no longer escape.
